Iran Condemns US Strike on Hormozgan Ranger Post as War Crime

Iran’s Foreign Ministry has condemned a reported US strike on an environmental ranger post in Hormozgan Province, saying the attack killed three members of a park ranger’s family and constituted a war crime against Iran and humanity. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei made the remarks in a post on social media platform X on Wednesday.
According to Baghaei, the strike targeted the head ranger’s post in Seyed Jowzar village in Hajiabad County on Tuesday, killing three relatives of park ranger Javad Hassanzadeh. He described the attack as the latest example of what he called US war crimes against Iran.
“The list of US crimes against the Iranian people runs longer every day, and with each passing day Washington reveals a new face of its hostility toward Iran,” Baghaei wrote. He added that the Hormozgan incident was part of what he described as a series of attacks over the past four and a half months, including the assassination of Iranian leaders and the killing of civilians in Minab and Lamerd.
