Security Forces Foil Major Terror Plot in Wana

Security forces foiled a major terrorist attack in Wana through a timely intelligence-based operation, preventing a possible disaster in the area.

According to security sources, the operation was carried out in the Ghwakha area of Lower South Waziristan, where a vehicle loaded with explosives was destroyed before it could be used in a suicide attack.

The explosive-filled vehicle was allegedly being prepared for a major terrorist attack.

Security sources said the forces acted with great professionalism to ensure the safety of civilians and their property during the operation.

The vehicle was kept under surveillance for three days, and security forces targeted it only after it moved away from the populated area.

During the operation, the explosive-laden vehicle and a motorcycle were destroyed. Security sources said one khariji was killed and five others were injured.

Security sources said the successful operation shows the determination of security forces to protect the country and prevent terrorist attacks.
