Earlier today, US Central Command said that two US service members were killed and one was reported missing in action the first American military fatalities attributed to Iranian fire since March.

Iran’s former deputy oil minister, Asghar Ebrahimi-Asl, said on Saturday that the United States was expanding its military presence in countries including the UAE and hiring foreign mercenaries as part of preparations for an incursion into Iran.

He claimed that Qeshm Island, parts of Kharg Island, and stretches of Iran’s southern coast could be targeted, and said Washington may defer any ground incursion until September due to cooler weather.
