Iran Crowned Asian U-18 Volleyball Champions, Three Players Named to Dream Team

Iran claimed the Asian U-18 Volleyball Championship title after an impressive campaign that showcased the country’s rising talent on one of the continent’s premier youth stages. The tournament brought together Asia’s brightest under-18 volleyball prospects, providing the next generation of stars with the opportunity to compete at the highest level while highlighting the future of the sport across the region.

The Iranian team secured the championship through resilience, teamwork and consistent performances throughout the week-long tournament. Japan finished as runners-up to take the silver medal after another strong campaign, while Chinese Taipei claimed the bronze medal with a convincing performance in the third-place playoff, completing the podium.

Following the final, several Iranian players were honored with places in the tournament’s official Dream Team. Abolfazl Pashaamiri was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) and also received the Best Opposite award, becoming the only player to win two individual honors. Iran’s Pedram Heydari Sefat and Amirali Shams were also selected to the Dream Team in recognition of their outstanding performances during the championship.
