Arijit Singh Makes Playback Singing Comeback With ‘Awarapan 2’ Song

Arijit Singh may be returning to playback singing, become his millions of fans a reason to celebrate.

The popular playback singer from Bollywood Arijit Singh giving his millions of fans to celebrated as her may be return to play back singing after announcement his retirement.

Earlier this year on January 27, Arijit Singh announced his retirement from playback singing, by saying he would not accept any new assignments in the future. The news broke millions of heart who love his voice, as his emotional voice has been part of some of Bollywood’s most loved songs.

Reports claimed that, 21 Arijit mark his first playback song from the upcoming film “Awarapan 2,” since his retirement announcement. The track is reportedly scheduled to be released on July 21.

According to Pinkvilla, a source close to the project told, that the collaboration feels special because of Arijit’s long connection with Vishesh Films. Arijit and Vishesh Films bonds started with with “Phir Mohabbat” from Murder 2, which helped introduce his voice to a wider audience.

Arijit and Vishesh Films have created several popular songs together over the years, such as songs from CityLights, Khamoshiyan, Hamari Adhuri Kahani and Jalebi.

Directed by Nitin Kakkar, “Awarapan 2” also stars Disha Patani and Shabana Azmi. The film is scheduled to release on August 14, 2026.
