IRGC Claims Heavy Losses Inflicted on U.S. Military Assets in Regional Strikes

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced that it carried out a set of precise strikes on U.S. military bases across the region over a two-week period following July 6. According to IRGC spokesperson Brigadier General Hossein Mohebi, the operations were result oriented following the destruction of 11 U.S. fighter jets and helicopters on the ground, along with 17 surveillance and attack drones, an F-15 fighter jet, a P-8 Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft, a C-17 transport plane, eight aerial refueling tankers, and four heavy helicopters.
The spokesperson further claimed that the strikes damaged seven command-and-control radar centers, three satellite communication systems, six Patriot radar units, eight early-warning radars, 12 fuel storage facilities, 17 ammunition depots, six missile bunkers, four HIMARS launchers, five fighter aircraft hangars, six missile launch platforms, a data center, and an AI data-processing center. He described the attacks as carefully planned operations targeting key military infrastructure.
The IRGC said the operations established Iran’s military readiness, defensive capabilities, and ability to launch effective retaliatory strikes. It also asserted that the attacks dealt a significant blow to U.S. and Israeli military strategy and shaped the regional security equation.
