Gold Prices Fall by Rs1,000 per Tola in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan fell on Wednesday, following a decline in international gold prices. According to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola decreased by Rs1,000 to Rs426,436.

Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold fell by Rs857, bringing it down to Rs365,600.

A day earlier, on Tuesday, the price of gold per tola stood at Rs427,436 after declining by Rs4,300 during the day.

In the international market, gold prices also dropped by $10 to $4,040 per ounce, including a $20 premium.

Meanwhile, silver prices moved in the opposite direction. The price of silver increased by Rs68, reaching Rs6,291 per tola.

The latest movement in local gold prices was largely in line with the decline in international gold rates.
