Israeli Airstrikes Intensify in Gaza, 18 Palestinians Martyred and Several Injured

Israeli airstrikes across Gaza have intensified, resulting in the martyrdom of 18 Palestinians and injuries to several others, according to local authorities.

Gaza’s Civil Defense said that those martyred in the latest attacks included four children and two women. Israeli drones and helicopters carried out more than 10 strikes in different areas, targeting residential apartments, tents housing displaced families, and vehicles.

According to Gaza’s Civil Defense, an Israeli strike on Deir al-Balah martyred Hamas commander Kamal Abu Muaiq and his wife.

The Gaza Ministry of Health stated that 1,230 Palestinians have been martyred since the ceasefire agreement came into effect in October 2025. The ministry further said that the total number of Palestinians martyred since October 7, 2023, has reached 73,356.

The continued Israeli airstrikes have intensified concerns over the humanitarian situation in Gaza, as civilian areas and displaced families remain among those affected by the ongoing violence.
