Iran Arrests 25 Suspects in Kerman Over Alleged Mossad Links and Armed Activities

Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence announced on Thursday that it had identified and arrested 21 individuals allegedly linked to Israel’s intelligence agency, Mossad, along with four members of armed groups involved in unrest and criminal activities in Kerman Province.

According to the ministry, one key suspect and 20 other individuals were detained in separate operations across various cities in the province. Authorities alleged that the main suspect collected classified information on sensitive military and air defense facilities and transmitted it to the Israeli intelligence service. The ministry added that several of the other suspects were arrested over their activities on social media, while investigations into their alleged roles remain ongoing.

The statement further claimed that some of the detainees had helped identify and provide the coordinates of sensitive security sites in Kerman Province to Israeli intelligence during the recent conflict. In a separate operation, four armed individuals allegedly involved in criminal activities and unrest were also arrested, with security forces seizing military-grade and hunting weapons along with ammunition.

The ministry also said that, as part of continuing investigations into what it described as US- and Israeli-backed violent riots in January 2026, authorities recovered four military firearms from five previously detained armed suspects. According to the statement, the seized weapons have been handed over to the judiciary for further legal proceedings.
