Pakistan’s most popular actress and television host Javeria Saud talk about cosmetic procedure, beauty filters, and unrealistic body standards which is become increasing trend on todays among women. She addressed the issue in a podcast that the impact of beauty trends and the pressure women experience to transform their appearance.
For years, Javeria Saud has been a familiar and celebrated face in Pakistan’s showbiz industry. Javeria Saud has discovered multiple parts of the entertainment industry, working as an actress and producer while getting admiration for her unforgettable roles in popular dramas like Yeh Zindagi Hai, Nand, Paristan, Baby Baji, Baby Baji Ki Bahuwain, and Muhabbat Starangi.
Javeria Saud recently appeared in the podcast in which highlights about, how modern beauty trends, filters and editing apps influenced on social media. She revealed that even her own children do not like when she edits her pictures. According to her, they often remind her that everyone should feel confident with their natural appearance and have even deleted her photo-editing application. In a cheerful remark, Javeria said that she keeps coming back to the app and downloads it again later.
She also spoke against over the rising passion with Bollywood-inspired appearances, emphasized how Bollywood beauty fashions have posh people’s opinions of beauty, saying that many women want to look like well-known actresses including Kajol, Kareena Kapoor, and Katrina Kaif, which may lead them toward cosmetic boosts.
Javeria further spoke about the obsession with extremely slim figures and the “size-zero” trend. She said that excessive dieting, especially among women over 30, can negatively affect health by reducing muscle and collagen. In a humorous remark, she compared extreme weight loss to looking like a “dehydrated mango.”
