Pakistan, Iran Discuss Bilateral Cooperation and Regional Situation
ISLAMABAD: Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Reza Amiri Moghadam called on Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar in Islamabad, where both sides exchanged views on bilateral cooperation and the evolving regional situation.
While meeting with the Iranian ambassador, the Iranian ambassador instructed Ishaq Dar on progress under several bilateral institutional mechanisms intended at reinforcement cooperation across a range of areas.
The briefing came after the recent exchange of high-level visits between Pakistan and Iran, which provided fresh momentum to bilateral engagement.
Ishaq Dar confirmed Pakistan’s pledge to additional extending bonds with Iran, mainly in key priority areas of joint concern.
The meeting also concealed the progressing regional condition, with both sides highlighting the requirement for constant commitment to speak key encounters.
The deputy prime minister and foreign minister stressed that interchange and diplomacy keep on the only operative means of determining unresolved matters and attaining long-term concord, constancy and success in the region.
The meeting reflects Pakistan and Iran’s continued efforts to strengthen bilateral relations and expand cooperation through established institutional mechanisms.
