Mir Raza Case: Inquiry Committee Inspects Crime Scene and Kitchen

KARACHI: The head of the inquiry committee investigating the Mir Raza case visited the crime scene along with members of the team and conducted a detailed inspection of the area. The committee walked from the crime scene to Mir Raza’s kitchen and also examined the location associated with the last available CCTV footage.

The committee chief entered the kitchen, had it opened for inspection and spoke with the staff present there. After conducting a lengthy examination, the committee returned to the crime scene. During the inspection, the team also collected soil samples and two bottles containing acid from near the crime scene.

The acid and soil samples were placed in the investigating officer’s vehicle for further examination. Meanwhile, the committee is recording detailed statements from all relevant personnel and officers as part of its ongoing investigation into the case.
