Gold price rises by Rs2,000 per tola in Pakistan
Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Monday, following a rise in international gold prices. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs2,000 per tola to Rs461,936.
The price of 10-gram gold also increased by Rs1,715, reaching Rs396,035.
On Saturday, gold had fallen by Rs500 per tola to Rs459,936.
In the international market, gold prices increased by $20 to reach $4,395 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver prices also moved higher in the local market. The price of silver increased by Rs80 per tola to Rs7,029.
Overall, both gold and silver prices recorded gains in Pakistan on Monday, supported by higher international gold rates.
