Russia, Pakistan Discuss Election Cooperation Ahead of Parliamentary Polls

Chairperson of Russia’s Central Election Commission Ella Pamfilova held bilateral meetings with the heads of electoral authorities from Pakistan, Kazakhstan and Türkiye.

During her meeting with Pakistan’s Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja, the two sides discussed arrangements for a Pakistani delegation to observe Russia’s upcoming parliamentary elections.

The Russian parliamentary elections are scheduled to take place from September 18 to 20.

The meeting focused on election observation and cooperation between the electoral authorities of Russia and Pakistan.

Both sides discussed preparations to facilitate the participation of the Pakistani delegation in monitoring the Russian parliamentary polls.
