Field Marshal Asim Munir Holds Key Meetings During Turkey Visit

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir held important meetings during his visit to Turkiye, including discussions with the Saudi Defence Minister as well as Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Defence Minister Yasar Guler, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Field Marshal Asim Munir also participated in a meeting of the Strategic Committee under the Makkah Agreement, where participants reviewed ways to further strengthen strategic coordination and defence cooperation among the three brotherly countries.

The meeting highlighted the importance of closer coordination in strategic and defence matters, with Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkiye discussing mechanisms to enhance cooperation and strengthen their collective security partnership.

According to ISPR, the three brotherly countries reaffirmed their commitment to further consolidating their strategic and defence relations, while expressing determination to expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
