King Charles and Queen Camilla Make Balmoral Appearance With Special Guests

The Britain King and Queen present at Sunday service at Crathie Krik in Balmoral on September 6, to follow time honored royal family tradition. Before the Annual Braemar event King Charles and Queen Camilla were seen before arriving at the small church near Balmoral Castle in Scotland.

King wearing a formal jacket and striped tie, while Camilla wore a colourful outfit containing a tartan collar, showing a gesture to Scotland. She finalized her fit with a lively red hat adorned with a large feather and seemed cheerful as she sat next to the King.

This time, the royal couple were united by Prime Minister Andy Burnham and his wife, Marie-France Van-Heel, who moved with them in a black car. The Sunday church visit has become a even part of the royal family’s summer stay in Aberdeenshire.

Formerly this summer, other members of the family also merged Charles and Camilla at the service. The Prince and Princess of Wales, Princess Anne and Sir Timothy Laurence, along with the Duke of Edinburgh and Lady Louise Windsor, attended church with the King and Queen on August 23 during their Balmoral break.

Andy Burnham and his wife, Marie-France van Heel, just met King Charles and Queen Camilla at the British Museum in London. During the outing Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte Macron joined the group as well where the together visited the Bayeux Tapestry, a historic artwork showing the Battle of Hastings, ahead of its public opening.

King Charles and Andy Burnham Meet for the First Time

King Charles formally appointed Andy Burnham as the UK’s new Prime Minister on July 20, weeks after Keir Starmer announced his resignation on June 22.

A statement from Buckingham Palace read, “His Majesty received in audience the Rt Hon Andrew Burnham MP and requested him to form a new Administration.”

“The Rt Hon Andrew Burnham MP accepted The King’s offer and kissed hands upon his appointment as Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury. Ms Marie-France van Heel was also received by His Majesty.”
