2022 popular Coke Studio’s song Pasoori has achieved a major milestone, get one billion views on YouTube. This hit has become the first Pakistan-made music video to achieve this landmark, highlighting its huge popularity in Pakistan and around the world.
On Sunday, Coke Studio’s official Instagram shared this accomplishment, and express thanks to fans who listened to the song, sang along and helped make it a global hit.

This major achievers song Pasoori was sung by Ali Sethi and Shae Gill, and it released on Friday 7 2022. And to cross the billion-view mark, the song took approx. four years and seven months. It has stayed popular since its release and was Spotify’s most-streamed Pakistani song in 2022. It also remains the most-streamed track by both Sethi and Gill on the platform, with nearly 405 million streams.
The song’s popularity quickly spread beyond Pakistan, inspiring covers in India and other countries, this song also highlighted Pakistani culture as it featured in Disney’s Ms. Marvel.
Coke Studio Africa gave the song a new twist with a remix featuring Marwan Moussa and Reekado Banks, Meanwhile, Bollywood singer Arijit Singh recorded his own rendition of the popular song.
