Singer Abdul Hannan Celebrates 30th Birthday with Makkah Pilgrimage

Abdul Hannan Pakistan’s most famous singer-songwriter marked his 30^th birthday on September 4 in a significant way, opting to visit Makkah for pilgrimage rather than celebrating his birthday in the usual way

The Iraaday singer shared several pictures from his journey on Instagram, he captioned the post with words, “Alhamdulillah! This is how I decided to enter my 30’s. Prayed for everyone.”

The singe was studied computer science at Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences, once had an engineering job waiting for him in Berlin after graduating during the COVID-19 pandemic. After grasping that corporate world was not right for him, so he picked to form his career in music.

His choice brought him great success as songs such as Iraaday and Bikhra became main hits and remained on the charts for more than 100 weeks. His 2024 Coke Studio presence on O Yaara with Kaavish also facilitated him increase extensive acknowledgement.

Beyond music, Hannan hopes to improve Pakistan’s live concert experience with better visuals, sound and interactive elements through his planned “Abdul Hannan Experience.”

His popularity is also clear on Spotify. He has ranked among Sindh’s five most-streamed local artists, while Iraaday and Bikhra have also been among Karachi’s most-played songs, further showing his strong connection with listeners nationwide.
