King Charles’ Sandringham Estate Gets Surprise Cricket Club Planning Application

King Charles’ Sandringham estate is at the centre of a new planning application as reports continue to suggest that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are seeking a permanent base in Britain.

Sandringham and Dersingham Cricket Club, which uses the royal estate’s grounds, has requested permission to install an artificial all-weather cricket surface.

The application has been submitted to the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk.

The club said the proposed upgrade would allow more playing and training hours for the local community by making the facility available in all weather conditions.

The Sandringham estate is also home to Prince William and Princess Kate, whose country residence, Anmer Hall, is located within the estate.

Wales’ daughter Princess Charlotte has already revealed that she has a talent for cricket. A video shared by the Wales family in May for her 11th birthday showed the young royal bowling on a Cornish beach.

The young royal was filmed bowling on a Cornish beach, with her technique receiving praise from former England captain Mike Atherton including her run-up, straight arm and energetic follow-through.

He also remarked that Charlotte looked like she was enjoying playing cricket.
