Ishaq Dar, Iranian FM Araghchi Discuss Regional Developments, Energy Supplies

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar spoke with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on Saturday.

The two foreign ministers discussed the latest regional developments during the conversation.

Ishaq Dar stressed the importance of uninterrupted energy supplies and the safe and expeditious passage of ships, particularly in view of their implications for developing countries and global supply chains.

He underscored that dialogue and diplomacy remain the only viable means of ensuring peace and stability in the region.

The two sides agreed to maintain close cooperation and meet in New York on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
