Kohat Police Lines Mosque Blast: Security Forces Eliminate All 7 Khawarij Terrorists

KOHAT: Security forces have completed the operation against all Khawarij terrorists involved in the Kohat Police Lines mosque bombing, with Pakistan Army commandos eliminating the final two suicide bombers hiding inside the Police Lines after Fajr prayers.

According to security sources, a total of seven Khawarij terrorists were eliminated during the operation.

The operation was directly supervised by the General Officer Commanding (GOC) deployed in Kohat, reflecting the high-level coordination of the security response.

Pakistan Army commandos and troops, assisted by the Bomb Disposal Squad, cleared different sections of the Police Lines during the operation.

Security personnel conducted an extensive search and clearance operation to ensure that no terrorist or explosive threat remained inside the compound.

The final two suicide bombers were eliminated after security forces tracked down their hideout inside the Police Lines.

Following completion of the operation, the cleared area was handed over to the police authorities.

Security measures inside and around the Police Lines have also been reinforced and completed to prevent any further threat.

The successful operation ensured the complete clearance of the area and brought the security response to the deadly mosque attack to an end.

The operation demonstrates the continued determination of Pakistan’s Armed Forces and law-enforcement agencies to eliminate terrorist elements and protect civilians and security personnel.
