Ishaq Dar, Kuwait Foreign Minister Discuss Bilateral Ties and Regional Developments

NEW YORK: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah on the sidelines of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The two foreign ministers held a cordial meeting and reviewed the close and longstanding relationship between Pakistan and Kuwait.

They welcomed continued high-level engagement between the two countries and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

Ishaq Dar and the Kuwaiti foreign minister discussed ways to expand cooperation and maintain regular high-level contacts between the two countries.

The two sides expressed their commitment to building on existing bilateral ties and promoting cooperation across areas of shared interest.

The ministers also exchanged views on regional and international developments, including the evolving situation in the Middle East.

They emphasised the importance of continued dialogue and diplomatic engagement to address outstanding issues and support peace and stability in the region.

The meeting took place during the high-level segment of the UN General Assembly, where Pakistan and Kuwait are engaging with international partners on a range of regional and global issues.
