KARACHI: Armaghan and Shiraz, the suspects in the Mustafa Amir murder case, have refused to receive court notices, according to information presented before the Sindh High Court.
The court was hearing a petition seeking a speedy trial in the murder case when it was informed that both suspects had refused to accept the notices.
The Sindh High Court expressed surprise over their refusal. Justice Muhammad Iqbal Kalhoro remarked that the suspects were not even accepting court notices.
Advocate Iftikhar Shah told the court that the suspects had refused to receive the notices for the second time.
The court observed that the suspects were refusing to accept notices while the trial court was also without a judge due to the vacant post.
