MOFA General Attestation 2026: How to Apply Online and Fee Details

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) in Pakistan has introduced an online process that allows applicants to apply for document attestation through a single account. Applicants can submit applications, get their documents approved, book appointments and pay fees through the same portal.

The service covers personal, educational, experience-related, legal and commercial documents. Applicants can also submit multiple documents in one application.

How to Apply for MOFA General Attestation

Applicants must first register on the online portal or sign in to an existing account. They must verify their email address and complete their profile before applying.

After registration, applicants can select apostille or general attestation and upload the required documents. A relevant Foreign Affairs Liaison Office (FALO) officer will review the application and documents.

Applicants must wait for approval before booking an appointment at the FALO office through the portal. The fee challan becomes available after the appointment is booked, allowing applicants to pay the required charges online.

Office Visit and Document Collection

After completing the online application, receiving approval, booking an appointment and paying the fee, applicants must visit the FALO office on their scheduled date and submit their documents.

Attested documents can be collected from the delivery counter within one to three hours of the office visit.

Applicants should ensure that their profiles and documents are complete and follow all steps in the correct order to avoid delays.

MOFA General Attestation Fees

The attestation fee is Rs10 per document for personal documents, educational documents and experience certificates. Legal and commercial documents cost Rs60 per document.
