STL finds no evidence to incriminate Hezbollah Syria in Rafik Hariri murder case.
The Special Tribunal for Lebanon has announced this verdict in Hague today (Tuesday).

The STL’s Presiding Judge said Syria and Hizbullah noted that there is no evidence to incriminate them over the killing.
Sad Hariri has traveled to The Hague along with a delegation to attend the TL session for the announcement of verdicts over the 2005 murder of Rafik Hariri.
Presiding Judge of the STL Trial Chamber asked to observe a minute of silence out of respect for the victims of the Beirut explosion that took place on August 4.
STL Presiding Judge David Re was reading out the pronouncement of the Judgment in the Ayyash et al. case.
He said the attempt to assassinate Marwan Hamadeh was a prior warning to Hariri and Jumblat.
The STL said Hariri’s assassination was carried out for political reasons.
On the other hand, Lebanese President Michel Aoun said we have to accept what will be issued by the STL, although delayed justice is not justice.
He said the crime of ex-PM Hariri’s assassination greatly affected the life of the Lebanese and the course of events in Lebanon.
Lebanese website Naharnet gave live tickers of the proceedings. Till the filing of this report, the verdict announcement had not ended.
