At the summit, the countries will also set out new ambitious commitments under three pillars of Paris Agreement.

Those include: mitigation, adaptation and finance.

Unfortunately, Trump administration broke the international consensus on the issue.

International efforts remained badly stalled because of U.S. opposition.
