One terrorist gunned down and five arrested in encounter with CTD in Karachi.

Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in Karachi conducted an operation in Shah Latif Town area early today.

One terrorist gunned down and five arrested in encounter

During the CTD operation, terrorists hurled a hand grenade on the armored vehicle of the CTD personnel.

Besides, an exchange of fire also took place between terrorists and CTD due to which one terrorist lost life.

The CTD also arrested five terrorists.

Moreover, they seized explosive material, suicide jackets and a rickshaw laden with explosive material from the arrested terrorist.

According to DIG CTD, the CTD was establishing identity of the arrested terrorists.
