Pakistan expresses serious concern on over 7 Kg uranium seizure in India from unauthorized persons.

In this regard, ministry of foreign affairs in Islamabad answered a question from the media.

The Spokesperson spoke on  seizure of natural uranium in India.

He said we have noted with serious concern the reports about seizure of more than 7 Kg natural uranium from unauthorized persons in India.

Furthermore, the FO stated security of nuclear materials should remain the top priority for all countries.

The FO stressed the need for thorough investigation of the matter as to how such sizeable quantity of uranium could become available outside any state control and identify the gaps which made this possible.
