Federal Interior Minister calls on Sindh Chief Minister during Karachi visit today (Thursday).

Minister for Interior, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed met with Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah at the chief minister house in Karachi.

Both sides discussed the matters of law and order.

Earlier, the minister held meeting with Director General Pakistan Rangers (Sindh).

Prime Minister Imran Khan has sent Interior Minister to Sindh province visit.

He had received complaints of bad law and order situation.

Meanwhile, Minister for Interior Sheikh Rashid Ahmed visited Rangers Headquarters Karachi.

Director General Pakistan Rangers Sindh Major General Iftikhar Hassan Chaudhry called on him there.

During the meeting matters of law and order in Sindh came under discussion.

He briefed the Minister for Interior Sheikh Rashid about the overall law and order situation in the province

Sheikh Rashid praised the steps taken to maintain law and order in Karachi by Rangers.

He noted Karachi as the backbone of Pakistan’s economy.

He further said the role of Sindh Rangers in maintaining law and order in Karachi is very commendable.

Sheikh also announced further necessary steps to protect the lives and property of the people.

Moreover, he said that federal government will ensure the provision of necessary resources to law enforcement agencies.
