While addressing a gathering in Jhelum today (Sunday), he said that the government is taking all decisions on merit.
He further said Prime Minister Imran khan has broken two-party system in the country with the support of general public.
The Information Minister said that the PTI led government has introduced an integrated political strong narrative against corruption.
Moreover, the government also has taken bold steps to eliminate this menace from the country.
He said that Imran Khan has emerged as the Muslim leader in the world and effectively fought the case of Muslim Ummah including Islamophobia.
Earlier, the Minister for Information and Broadcasting inaugurated the two lane Lillah to Jhelum road.
The government is constructing it at the cost of 13 billion rupees.
Education budget increased
Meanwhile, Minister for Federal Education Shafqat Mehmood says the federal government has allocated 28 billion rupees for education sector in the next fiscal year budget.
He noted it 100 percent higher than the previous year.
The Minister said this in an Interview with APP today (Sunday).
He further said that with this allocation, the education sector would see a true transformation.
He said enrollment in educational institutions has increased by 45 percent during the PTI government’s tenure.
Shafqat Mehmood said the budget allocation and spending of HEC increased to facilitate areas of access, quality, research and governance.
