Electronic Voting Machines will help make electoral system rigging free, fair and transparent for an acceptable and reliable result.
Minister for Science and Technology Senator Shibli Faraz said, while briefing the media on Electronic Voting Machine at the Parliament House Islamabad today (Wednesday).

National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser and other parliamentarians also present on the occasion.
Shibli Faraz said the EVM would not be hacked as it is not linked with internet.
He also presented a mock use of the machine.
Furthermore, he said the EVM will complete the voting process at a high speed in a transparent way.
He said a voter could not use the machine for more than one time in an election process.
Shibli Faraz said result of EVM cannot be manipulated as there would be two records created through this process; a paper record and an electronic record.
Moreover, he said there would be no possibility of error in counting of votes.
He said identification would be on the basis of the CNIC and it would be verified by data provided by the NADRA.
Shibli Faraz said the EVM has been designed according to the requirements of Election Commission of Pakistan.
