Veteran diplomat Munir Akram urged the need to encourage an inclusive government in Afghanistan.

Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations said this in an interview with US TV Fox News.

He said Pakistan, the United States and other countries under Doha agreement are working for this purpose.

Munir Akram said a high level non-Pashtun Afghan political delegation was currently visiting in Islamabad.

They were visiting to discuss the future representative government in Kabul.

He underlined it as a positive gesture that Taliban are making assurances.

Munir further said we should remain vigilant to monitor the implementation of these promises.

The Pakistan’s envoy said Taliban want recognition from international community.

He said we should exploit this opportunity to ensure good response from them.

Moreover, he underlined the need to form an international coalition to curb terrorism in Afghanistan.

Taliban wishes peaceful relations with other countries and Taliban would let anyone to use of Afghan territory against any country.

Taliban Spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid expressed these views in his first press conference in Kabul on Tuesday.

During the press conference, the Taliban Spokesman said they did not want any internal or external enemies.
