Pakistan captain Babar Azam has said that all his team players are key for him as the Men in Green set to depart for England and Ireland tours.

The prolific batter made these remarks while addressing a news conference today in Lahore.

About Haris Rauf, he said that the fast bowler would hopefully perform better. He recovered from injury earlier than expected, which is very good for Pakistan, Babar added.

The national cricket team said that in the past, the goal was to bring the trophy but unfortunately could not bring it.

Commenting on Mohammad Haris’ exclusion, he said that in the top of the order, Mohammad Rizwan, Saim Ayub and Fakhar Zaman are already there, and he [Haris] got a chance in the PSL but he could not perform.

“So we are going with those who are the best.”

The batter backed the team’s performance despite drawing the series against second-tier New Zealand.

When asked about the possible combination against India, he said that they would decide on the match day.

He ruled out rotation of players in the upcoming England and Ireland series.
