OGRA Increases Kerosene Oil Price by Rs11.19 Per Litre

11 July, 2026 09:10

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has increased the price of kerosene oil by Rs11.19 per litre.

According to the latest notification, the new price of kerosene oil is Rs242.33 per litre. The revised price will remain effective for the coming week.

The government has also increased the prices of other petroleum products. Petrol has gone up by Rs13.18 per litre to Rs310.71 per litre, while high-speed diesel (HSD) has increased by Rs13.80 per litre to Rs323.30 per litre.

Kerosene is still widely used in many villages and remote areas of Pakistan where electricity and natural gas are not easily available. Many families depend on it for cooking, heating water, and lighting their homes.

During the winter season, the demand for kerosene usually increases as it is used in heaters to keep homes warm.

Pakistan imports a large amount of kerosene because local production is not enough to meet demand. Although many people are shifting to LPG and electricity, kerosene remains an important fuel for millions of people living in rural and underserved areas.
