Gold Price Drops Rs3,500 Per Tola in Pakistan

KARACHI: The upward trend in gold prices has ended in both local and international markets. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs3,500 per tola, bringing the price down to Rs460,436 per tola.

The price of 10 grams of gold also decreased by Rs3,001 to Rs394,749. Gold had gained Rs36,000 per tola over the previous seven days before Thursday’s decline.

The price of silver also fell by Rs175 per tola, reaching Rs6,936. In the international market, the price of gold dropped by $35 per ounce to $4,380.
