China sends 1m masks to Pakistan to help fight coronavirus pandemic effectively.

 

First cargo plane carrying relief goods from China has landed in Karachi today


The relief goods contain one million face masks including N95 masks.

The Chinese government has donated these goods to Pakistan to help effectively fight coronavirus pandemic.

Pakistan civilian government and the army are on same page to fight the pandemic.

From Islamic scholars to other notables call for national unity and observance of precautionary measures.

Pakistan confirms 972 cases
According to official sources, the confirmed cases of coronavirus infection in the country has risen to 972.
These included 407 in Sindh while 281 Punjab.
Besides, 110 confirmed cases in Balochistan and 80 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Moreover, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa confirmed 78 cases, Islamabad has 15 and one in Azad Kashmir.
18 patients have recovered so far while seven died from the virus.

 

Coronavirus claims over 18000 lives

Meanwhile, Coronavirus/COVID-19 claimed over 18600 lives in over 190 countries so far.

There are currently 422,959 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in 197 countries and territories.

According to Radio Pakistan, WHO announced the United States could soon become the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic.

The World Health Organization (WHO) spokeswoman Margaret Harris said this at a news conference in Geneva.

Furthermore, she said we are now seeing a very large acceleration in cases in the U.S.

Meanwhile, China has reported improvements with just four locally transmitted cases in a single day.

The global death toll from Coronavirus has reached 18600 while confirmed infection cases have risen to more than 418000.
