Alizeh Shah Speaks Out Against Industry Favouritism and ‘Parchi Culture’

Alizeh Shah Denies Plastic Surgery Rumors
Pakistani actress Alizeh Shah, who rose to fame with her role in Ehd-e-Wafa, has once again made headlines—not for her roles, but for her candid statements about the entertainment industry. After recently deleting all her Instagram posts and announcing her exit from the platform, Alizeh has returned with a bold message.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, the young star called out the rampant favouritism and “parchi culture” in showbiz. Alizeh claimed that many people in the industry land roles not because of talent, but through connections or “closed doors” favours.
Without taking names, she took a dig at those who rely on such tactics to stay relevant. “Parchi only works in Pakistan,” she remarked sarcastically, adding that she takes pride in never compromising her self-respect or engaging in shady practices to get work.

Alizeh Shah previously clarified that she’s always walked her own path and never asked for favours or used unethical means to climb the ladder. She also criticized the double standards in the industry, pointing out how people label someone “badtameez” the moment they refuse to play along with the system.
Calling into question the so-called professionalism of certain peers, Alizeh’s statement highlights the ongoing debate around fairness and integrity in the entertainment world. Her bold stance adds another layer to her already controversial image—but it’s clear she’s not afraid to speak her truth.
