Momina Iqbal Sends Rs 190 Million Defamation Notice to Allama Nasir Madni
LAHORE: Pakistani actress Momina Iqbal who has recently engaged in the controversy, has formally sent a legal notice demanding Rs 190 million from Allama Nasir Madni.
As per reports, under Section 8 of the Defamation Ordinance, demanding a public apology, she sent official notice by her lawyer, Adnan Ehsan Advocate.
The notice states that Allama Nasir Madni used unsuitable language against the actress, which reportedly harmed her reputation. It further alleges that his comments were aimed at damaging the reputation of an institution.
The notice seeks the removal of all related videos from social media platforms along with a public apology and stated that if the demands are not met, she will claim Rs 190 million in damages for harm to her reputation.
The controversy traces back to a public statement made by Allama Nasir Madni involving Momina Iqbal and PML-N MPA Saqib Chadhar.

She strongly refuted the allegations online, by rejecting the allegations and would pursue the matter legally and not forgive those involved in spreading false accusations.
