Shah Rukh Khan Receives Major Legal Relief in Mannat CRZ Case

Bollywood’s King Khan got a major legal relief after Supreme Court of India give notice a petition challenging the CRZ (Coastal Regulation Zone) granted clearance for the renovation of their Mumbai home, Mannat and added two more floors in the house on Tuesday.

The case was heard by a Supreme Court bench covering by Chief Justice Surya Kant Justice Joymalya Bagchi and Justice V. Mohana, declined to delay with the National Green Tribunal’s (NGT) former verdict, which had now dismissed the challenge.

According to the court, the authorities had met the necessary legal requirements, and allowing the construction to continue.

Senior Advocate Shoeb Alam, on behalf of the supplicant during the hearing, claimed that Shah Rukh Khan’s popularity should not move how the court grips the case. He also said the petitioner had prior visible the Adarsh Housing Society dodge and was a well-known activist.

Though, the Court bench dismissed those arguments, made it clear that, it would not influence its decision Justice Joymalya Bagchi remarked that the court was “in no way influenced” by such claims.

In Mumbai, Shah Rukh Khan’s Manna is one of the famous home and popular attraction for King Khan’s fans. Every year on his birthday, thousands of fans gather outside the Bandra bungalow to catch a glimpse of the superstar as he greets them from his balcony.

Not only Mannat, Shah Rukh recently became the sole owner of his old South Delhi house by purchasing the second and third floors for around Rs37 crore. He already owned the basement and first floor of the property, where he and his wife, Gauri Khan, began their married life.

Shah Rukh Khan’s forthcoming film King, in which he will see alongside his daughter Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Abhay Verma. And it will be release at the late December 24, 2026.a
