Kangana Ranaut Falsely Linked to Viral Crowd Assault Video
A video roaming extensively on social media which create a lots of discussion between users claimed that the woman being attacked by a crowd was Bollywood actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut.
In the clip, a women brutally assaulted by group of people just after she stepped out of car. The crowd can be seen pushing her, pulling her hairs and behaving aggressively towards her, as police officers wearing masks get involved to shield her and aide her away from the crowd.

Some social media posts claimed that the women shown in the video was Kanagana Ranuat and alleged that she was attacked over her recent controversial remarks about Gen Z. The dispute followed Kangana Ranaut’s recent remarks in which she described Gen Z as the “gutter generation” while speaking about student protests and viral social media content.
Though, the assertion flowing on social media is totally false.
The woman featured in the viral video was not Kangana Ranaut, its Pranayita Das, she is a leader of the Trinamool Congress (TMC).
The case occurred outside Jalpaiguri Kotwali Police Station in West Bengal on July 30, where police officers interrupted to guard Pranayita Das was apparently threatened by protester.
The viral video has been extensively shared with an incorrect identity, prominent many users to believe it involved Kangana Ranaut. There is no proof that the actress looks in the clip or was intricate in the incident.
