Priyanka Chopra Joins Russell Crowe for Upcoming Hollywood Film Bluefly

Priyanka Chopra is moving for her following big Hollywood film. In her recent Hollywood project, Priyanka Chopra has signed on to star with Oscar winner Russell Crowe in the coming Hollywood thriller Bluefly.

Priyanka took her Instagram and shared the news on Thursday. In the post, she updated the film’s set along with text “On to the next”, indicating that she has moved on to filming her next project.

The director of the Bluefly is Nimrod Antal, and David Frigerio, William Eubank, and Carlyle Eubank writes the screenplay.

The film, as described by Deadline, the story centers on a grieving UN translator who connected a concealed black-ops operation to recover a mysterious aircraft that goes down in the Congo. The team faces unpredicted encounters as they travel over hazardous militia-held areas, finding a mission that is more difficult than they were organized for.

Bluefly flim producers explained that, audience will see the film as a mesmerizing action suspenseful story filled with surprising twists and uncertainty, expressing confidence that audiences around the world will enjoy the story.

Priyanka’s update get whole-hearted reaction on social media. Her husband Nick Jonas and actress Huma Qureshi responded with fire emojis, while fans applauded the casting and expressed anticipation about seeing her share the screen with Russell Crowe.

Despite the Bluefly, Priyanka is also getting ready for her return to Indian cinema with SS Rajamouli’s Varanasi, where she will star alongside Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film is scheduled to release in April 2027.
