Madhuri Dixit Returns to Television With Kon Honar Crorepati

Bollywood’s all-time favorite actress Madhuri Dixit preparing her come back to Indian television show as a host after 24 years. Viewers will sees her hosting ‘Kon Honar Crorepati’ the Marathi version of the famous quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC).

The ‘Devdas’ actress said she feel privileged to be part of a show that inspires people through knowledge, fortitude and their dreams.

Madhuri believes ‘Kon Honar Crorepati’ is about much more than simply answering quiz questions. She said the show revels interest, confidence and the nerve to dream. As a proud Maharashtrian, she is eager to run into participants, listen to their personal stories and watch them chase their dreams on the iconic hot seat.

The upcoming season will carry the tagline “Aata Khel Badalnar,” meaning “Now the game will change.”

While Madhuri is recognized by her acting and dancing career, this not a first of her to hosting a show. She former done as a television host in 2002 with Kahin Na Kahin Koi Hai. She later also grabbed a role as a judge on prominent dance shows, like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and Dance Deewane.

The star of Khal Nayal is set to discover a fresh opening with the Marathi quiz show, getting her knowledge and signature style to the show, except season three, when Shah Rukh Khan stepped in.

Since its launch in 2000, popular KBC format is best known for Amitabh Bachchan, except season three, when Shah Rukh Khan stepped in.

Madhuri’s return as a host is expected to add a fresh and exciting touch to the popular quiz format.
