Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, Tiger Shroff Face Setback in Vimal Case

Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, Tiger Shroff involved in a legal dispute which has taken another turn after Delhi High Court dismissed a petition linked to notices issued by the Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

PB Agro was filed a petition, on the company associated with Vimal Elaichi. The company questioned the Maharashtra FDA notices against the three actors over an advertisement allegedly promoting Vimal pan masala.

The plea lay off by the Justice Swarana Kanta, the court found that the matter should not be heard under the Delhi High Court’s regional jurisdiction. According to the court, PB Agro should address its distresses about the notices before the authorities in Maharashtra.

PB Agro said that the Delhi High Court could receive the case because the company is based in Delhi. It also said the marketing campaign was strategic and managed from the capital, while expenses to the brand ambassadors were made from Delhi.

However, the court did not admit these urgings. It prominent that the notices were not issued to PB Agro and that the company had not been asked to answer back, remove advertisements, provide documents or appear before the Maharashtra FDA.

The case transmits to advertisements for Vimal Elaichi, which has been linked with Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn and Tiger Shroff. The Maharashtra FDA allotted notices to the actors over the alleged promotion of Vimal pan masala through the campaign.

The Centre and Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) faced the petition being heard in Delhi, in dispute that PB Agro should have move toward the Bombay High Court.

The recent order means the petition was not diverted by the Delhi High Court on jurisdictional grounds.
