Nadeem Mubarak Raises Questions Over Rajab Butt Controversy

A famous Pakistani TikToker Nadeem Mubarak known as Nadeem Nani Wala merged the ongoing social media argument relating YouTuber Rajab Butt, and questioning the backlash on the recent controversy on Rajab remarks about child abuse.

YouTuber Rajab Butt recently confronted criticism over an inappropriate joke about child abuse during a TikTok Live session with fellow content creator Zaid Ali. The comment rapidly went viral, which start criticism from several public figures. Rajab later delivered a public apology and confessed that the joke was unsuitable.

Addressing the controversy, the TikToker took his Instagram handle and shared a story in which he questioning why influencers, actors and politicians speak out strongly on some issues but remain silent on others.

Nadeem also brought politics into his statement, mentioning the imprisonment of PTI founder Imran Khan. He questioned why public figures who speak about other controversies do not raise their voices on political issues.

He also addressed politician Hina Pervaiz Butt, who had criticised Rajab over the controversial joke, and questioned her political credibility. These remarks were part of Nadeem’s broader call for what he described as consistent standards when people speak about controversial issues.

Nadeem ended his message by urging people not to “pick and choose” when deciding which issues deserve attention. He called for the same standards to be applied to everyone.
