Sony Drops 3 Must-Play PS5 2025 Games That Have Everyone Talking About
Sony’s latest State of Play showcase may have drawn mixed reactions from viewers, but it successfully highlighted three highly anticipated titles, demonstrating that PlayStation’s 2025 lineup still has plenty to offer.
Chronoscript: The Endless End Wows with Stunning Visuals
Chronoscript: The Endless End is shaping up to be one of the most visually impressive Metroidvania games in recent years. Players take on the role of an editor trapped inside a living manuscript, tasked with unraveling a thousand-year story that continues to write itself.
The game features hand-drawn art and fluid animations that bring its mysterious world to life. Combined with dynamic sound design, Chronoscript promises a hauntingly beautiful narrative experience when it launches next year.
Deus Ex Remastered Marks 25th Anniversary
Fans of immersive sims have reason to celebrate with the announcement of Deus Ex Remastered, commemorating the franchise’s 25th anniversary. The remaster offers updated visuals and modernized controls, giving both new and returning players a chance to experience the original classic.
Widely regarded as one of the most influential games in history, the remaster allows longtime fans to revisit the cyberpunk world in a modernized form when it releases next year.
Saros Brings Housemarque’s Signature Chaos
Housemarque, known for Returnal and Resogun, is back with Saros, a fast-paced and intense action game that retains the studio’s trademark chaotic gameplay. While brighter in tone than Returnal, the game promises relentless combat and precision-based challenges.
The reveal also featured a terrifying multi-armed demon reminiscent of Guillermo Del Toro’s creations, adding a sense of mystery and tension. Saros could become a must-play PlayStation exclusive when it launches next year.
Release Details and Platforms
All three titles are expected to release in late 2025 for PlayStation 5, with PC versions likely to follow for some games. Standard digital editions are priced at $69.99, with Deluxe or Collector’s Editions possibly including art books, soundtracks, or in-game bonuses.
Pre-orders are anticipated a few months before release, potentially with early access perks. PlayStation Plus Premium members may have access to day-one trials, while PC players can expect Chronoscript and Deus Ex Remastered on Steam or Epic. Inclusion of Deus Ex on Xbox Game Pass remains unconfirmed.
