IFIs pledge $588 million for Pakistan to combat Coronavirus.

 

International financial institutions have pledged to collectively provide 588 million dollars to Pakistan to combat COVID-19.

It was promised in a meeting between Deputy Chairman Planning Muhammad Jehanzeb Khan and Directors of World Bank and Asian Development Bank in Islamabad today.


Funds will be provided for the establishment of isolation centers across Pakistan. Besides, additional equipment will also be provided to fight this pandemic.
