Interior Minister says progress made in Dasu dam incident probe.

Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said this, while talking to the media persons in Islamabad on Monday.

He was referring to the bus blast that killed nine Chinese nationals and Pakistani staff.

He further said that China has always stood by Pakistan in difficult times.

Sheikh Rashid said foolproof security arrangements have been made for security of Chinese people in Pakistan.

The Interior Minister said an Afghan team has arrived in Islamabad for investigation into incident involving Afghan Ambassador’s daughter.

He said the authorities concerned will fully cooperate with the Afghan team.

Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said that NADRA has decided to issue Covid-19 vaccination certificates.

A vaccination verification system for both local and foreigners is being launched in the NADRA.

He said the government has directed Islamabad administration to further secure the diplomatic enclave. 190 more security cameras will be installed there.

Moreover, he also vowed to ensure maintaining law and order situation during the holy month of Muharram.

He said a meeting on Thursday would discuss Muharram related security.

Meanwhile, clerics meeting held where PM’s special assistant Tahir Ashrafi presided.

They issued a joint statement at the conclusion and agreed to follow code of ethics during Muharram.
