International Quds Day observed across Pakistan to support Palestinians on Friday.

While ensuring social distancing, rallies held across Pakistan under the aegis of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM).

International Quds Day observed

People joined Quds Day rallies and demos while acting upon SOPs for religious gatherings in Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, Peshawar, Islamabad, Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Kashmir.

They expressed solidarity with oppressed Palestinians, Kashmiris, Yemenis and other downtrodden nations on the Quds Day.

MWM Pakistan’s, its provincial and district chapters leaders led the International Quds Day rallies.

In Karachi, main Quds Rally held outside Jamey Masjid Noor-e-Eeman after Friday prayers.

While maintaining necessary social distance under SOPs, the demonstrators were carrying banners and lifting placards. Some were fluttering Palestine flag.

The banners and placards inscribed with slogans demanding inalienable rights of Palestinians and Kashmiris, including their freedom.

Quds Rally’s participants support Palestinians’ demand for state of Palestine in the entire pre-1948 territory of Palestine.

MWM leaders Allama Baqir Abbas Zaidi, Allama Sadiq Jafari, Allama Mubashir Hassan, Allama Ali Anwar Jafari, Allama Ghulam Abbas Kumaili, Allama Malik Ghulam Abbas and other office bearers spoke.

They reiterated support for Palestine while backing Kashmiris demand for right of self-determination. Furthermore, they condemned Israel for crimes against humanity in Palestine.

They also condemned atrocities in occupied Kashmir (IoJK). Moreover, they expressed solidarity with Yemenis and demand end to war in Yemen.

Quds Rally speakers lamented Muslims sufferings in Palestine, Kashmir, Yemen and Bahrain.

They lauded those Muslim regimes who play active role to support legitimate struggle for liberation of Palestine with al Quds as its capital.

They said those regimes who don’t stand with oppressed Palestinians freedom struggle are Muslims in name and not in practice.

Quds Day demonstrators cited Muslim history of Palestine spanned 1 millennium 2 centuries and over 3 decades duration in the history. Hence, they said Muslim world rightfully observe Quds Day to support sovereign and independent state of Palestine.

They urged Muslims around the world to unite for the sake of humanity and inalienable rights of Palestine and Palestinians.

They also appealed to them for unity for end to oppression against Muslims in Kashmir, Yemen, Bahrain, etc.
