‘Khans’ insecurity led to Pakistan artists ban in India’

Renowned morning show host Nadia Khan has claimed that Khans’ insecurity has led to Pakistan artists ban in India.

Her statement went viral on social media and was not received well by the fans on the other side of the border.

Nadia suggested that top Indian actors, including the renowned trio of Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Salman Khan, orchestrated a ban on Pakistani actors out of fear and insecurity.

“Our actors became really popular there when Fawad (Khan) etc started working in India,” Nadia said.

“This led to many big actors becoming insecure. They made it a political issue to get them banned. It wasn’t just that politicians had an issue. No. Their top actors…they became scared. It wasn’t just that they’d get films. It was also that their public would go crazy for our stars,” she added.

To back her claims, she further said that unlike Bollywood actors, Pakistani stars use their looks and eyes to deliver impactful dialogue.

“Their Urdu is so clear. [Indian actors were] done for. Thus, they got them banned. The thing is that the Indian audience loves our actors. And in recent times, what Bilal (Abbas Khan) and Wahaj (Ali) have done, [fans] are crazed. And those who make dramas understand that [these actors] are a necessity.”

Nadia’s remarks, made on the chat show, imply that the ban on Pakistani actors in Bollywood was not solely a political decision but rather a deliberate agenda driven by the fear of competition from Pakistani counterparts.
