Monis Elahi’s sarcastic congratulations to Hamza Shahbaz, Uzma Bukhari’s clear answer

Lahore (Web Desk) -Uzma Bukhari responded sharply to the sarcastic congratulations of Monis Elahi, son of Punjab Chief Ministerial nominee Pervez Elahi, on the resolution passed by the 199 members of the Punjab Assembly to elect Hamza Shahbaz as Chief Minister.

Monis Elahi wrote in his tweet for Hamza Shahbaz that “Congratulations to Hamza Shahbaz on becoming the Chief Minister of Fletcher Hotel.”
Uzma Bukhari wrote in response to Monis Elahi’s tweet: Talk about rubbing salt in my wounds – d’oh!

It may be recalled that yesterday the Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly Dost Mohammad Mazari first issued a declaration to convene the meeting on April 6 and then changed the date of the late night meeting to April 6.
In a symbolic session of the Punjab Assembly, 199 members passed a resolution to elect Hamza Shahbaz as Chief Minister.
When the resolution was passed, Maryam Nawaz hugged and congratulated Hamza Shahbaz. Meanwhile, Maryam Nawaz became pregnant.
